  • Disabled toilets.
  • Seating at various points throughout the Aquarium.
  • Wheelchair and Scooter accessible.

Toilet Facilities

There are accessible toilet facilities in the following areas:

  • Soft Play Area.
  • Rear of the Gift Shop.
  • Outside Area.

All accessible toilets have emergency alarms and communication points which connect to a 24hr manned security room.

Assistance Dogs

Exploris recognises that assistance dogs are highly trained.  However, if any of the following behaviours occur during your visit, Exploris reserves the right to ask for the dog to be removed from the premises.

  2. Aggressive or fearful temperaments.
  3. Poorly cared for dogs or dogs that are not toilet trained.

We may also ask for proof of vaccinations and advise that although we aim to be fully accessible there may be occasions where areas of the building may not be available dependant on the health and welfare of the residents held onsite. Please contact us in advance to your visit to find out which areas may not be available.

Staff may request you move ahead on your tour if our residents are showing signs of stress, are in mating/breeding season or undergoing medical treatment. This is both for the safety of our residents and your assistance dog.

Please note emotional support dogs are not permitted onsite for the safety and wellbeing of our residents.
