Night at the Aquarium
Christmas will soon be with us! At Exploris, we are getting excited about festive delights and good times. If you are thinking of meeting up with friends, family or work colleagues why not do something a little different and join us at Exploris Aquarium and Seal Sanctuary!
See the underwater world from a different perspective with an evening at Northern Ireland’s only aquarium.
Starting off with a tour of Exploris with one of our Aquarium Experts followed by a 3-course meal in the Kraken Bar & Grill.
As well as thousands of fish from around the world, you’ll get to see the Black Tip Reef Shark and the resident Caiman, Gizmo. New from 2021 you will see what our New Penguins get up to after hours.
Night at the Aquarium is now booked as time slots. This is the time your tour will start. You can then dine as long as you want an enjoy a few drinks after dinner.

Common FAQs
Getting to Us
Exploris is in Portaferry. If you are coming from Belfast the quickest way is probably through Ards. It takes around an hour to get to us from Belfast.
If you are coming from Downpatrick the quickest way is probably via the ferry at Strangford. The ferry leave on the hour and on the half hour. It returns at quarter past the hour and a quarter to the hour until late.
