New Visitor Experiences – September 2025

Ever wondered what it’s like to spend the day behind the scenes at a bustling aquarium? From feeding majestic sharks to hanging out with the world’s largest rodents, Exploris Aquarium is thrilled to announce a series of brand new, hands-on visitor experiences launching this September 2025!

Whether you’re an animal enthusiast, looking for the perfect gift, or just craving something unique and unforgettable — these immersive adventures are designed for you.

Shark Feed Experience

Do you find yourself captivated by the mystery and power of sharks? Step into the world of our aquarists and get up close with our incredible shark residents. You’ll learn about the daily care and feeding routines of our Blacktip Reef Sharks, Zebra Shark, and their aquatic companions, while witnessing the raw energy of a live shark feed.

Capybara Lunch

Looking for something a little cuddlier? Meet Jack and Jill, our lovable capybara siblings! Known for their calm nature and big personalities, these semi-aquatic rodents enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and of course snack time.

During the Capybara Lunch Experience, you’ll join our keepers to feed Jack and Jill their favourite treats, while learning all about their habits, natural habitat, and how we care for them here at Exploris. It’s the perfect family-friendly activity or gift for an animal lover!

Aquarist for the Day

Dreaming of a career in animal care? Studying marine biology or just want a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run an aquarium?

Our Aquarist for the Day experience offers a rare opportunity to shadow our expert staff, participate in food prep, habitat maintenance, and more. It’s hands-on, informative, and a whole lot of fun — whether you’re exploring a potential career path or simply following your passion for marine life.

Spaces are limited and demand is high so don’t wait! Click below to find out more and reserve your spot for one (or all!) of our New Visitor Experiences launching this September 2025.
