Wellington was the third grey seal to enter Exploris this season on 9th October from Cloughey. He had been attacked by a seagull and then abandoned by mum due to an infection in his injury. Being a very small pup Wellington needed lots of warmth and fish soup to grow and fight the illness. He had an amazing recovery and has gained weight well. He has had a bit of setback after meeting another seal called Nancy in our nursery pool. Nancy picked on Wellington as he is the smallest seal so he returned to the hospital unit while his wounds heal. We think he just wanted to be back in the warm pens.
