Teeth or Treat?

Takes place on 28th October 2023

This Halloween, why not visit us in Exploris and follow our “Teeth or Treat” trail!  Find our 7 missing megalodon teeth before collecting your “treat” at the end of the trail!

Megalodon, meaning “big tooth”, is an extinct species of mackerel shark that lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years. It was formerly thought to be a member of the family Lamnidae and a close relative of the great white shark, but has been reclassified into the extinct family Otodontidae, which diverged from the great white shark during the Early Cretaceous.

This year our Teeth Or Trail takes place between 28th-31st of October and is something a bit different to the usual Pumpkin Patches!

With the amazing Under the Sea Experience now fully opening it promises to be one of the most exciting Halloween’s in Exploris for quite some time!  Exploring the depths of the oceans and meet some of the scariest and most feared creatures from under the sea.

Spot prizes available throughout the event for best dressed, so why not come in your best Halloween costume!!  There is definitely extra points if your costume is nautical themed.  We can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

It’s sure to be an entertaining family day out and our animal team will be doing feeds and talks through out the day so it might even be a little educational as well!  Now is also an amazing time to see the seals with both Harbour and Grey seals currently in residence after being rescued earlier in the season.

Our Teeth and trail experience doesn’t cost anything extra and is available to all visitors between the 28th-31st of October just book through our normal booking page and collect your Teeth or Treat card at reception.  We hope you can find all the teeth and earn your Treat!
